At an altitude of 10,000 ft Clifftop Club is located on the snow clad Himalayas in one of India's most scenic areas. The resort has clear 270 degree view of the Nanda Devi range, the highest in India. In winter the area is a paradise for snow sports, and in summer guests can enjoy numerous marked walks and mountain bike trails, extended treks to the Valley of Flowers and day trips to Badrinath. Other Information:
  • A Visa may be required. Determine requirements prior to your visit.
  • Occupancy limits are strictly enforced: Violations could result in forfeiture of the unit and/or other penalties.
  • Hot water supply is limited and water supply is affected during winter due to below-zero temperatures. In case of a major electrical breakdown in the area, the resort will have generator back-up for limited hours i.e. between 8am to 10.30am & 7.30pm to 10pm. Utility fee is charged for a full week regardless of duration of stay. Quality of the resort and amenities provided are basic.
  • Activity charges: Skiing-1000/per person. Snow Activities (Cricket, Snow Man etc.)-2000/per person. Rock Climbing & Rippling-800/per person. Hiking to Gorson top-1000 FOR A GROUP OF 6 PERSONS. Hiking to Tapown-4000 FOR 6 PERSONS. Hiking to RR point-1000 FOR A GROUP OF 6 PERSONS. Horse Riding-1000/per person. DJ-20000 on request per night. GST as applicable will need to be paid at the resort
  • Cable car currently non-operational; alternative is the Chair car which operates: 10am to 4pm. Resort accessible only by Chair car. There are more than 150 steps from GMVN to the pickup tower for the chair car. The road leading to the resort is closed by border authorities. For members driving to resort, parking facility with fee subject to availability at GMVN or alternatively at Joshimath.
  • Per the latest guidelines - tourists can reserve accommodations in this resort subject to the condition that the minimum number of days of accommodation must be seven.
