BY AIR: Nearest airport: Araxos (38kms), Athens (200kms). BY ROAD: From Athens airport,
take the new road to Athens. At Geraka junction (end of this road), follow signs to
Kiffisia and National Road. When you reach National Road, follow signs to Korinthos
and after Isthmos Channel, signs to Patras. At the end of the toll road and before
Patras, turn right. Porto Rio is 3kms. The Porto Rio Hotel is situated on the beach
front to the west of the town centre. BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Buses and trains run approximately
hourly from Athens to Patras where you can hire a taxi to the resort. Some trains
stop at Rion, which is nearer to the resort than Patras.
