accommodations. Self-contained apartments are built around 2 large bedrooms with spacious
bathrooms for your convenience. The rooms are fully air-conditioned for your comfort,
and can accommodate 6 people, making it perfect for families, couples or small groups.
The rooms have been upgraded to include flat screen TV's for your entertainment. Living
areas are large and there are separate dining areas and full kitchens.

If flying into Townsville Airport (Qld) take a taxi or airport shuttle to Breakwater
Ferry Terminal. Departure schedule/costs available on www.sealinkqld.com.au. The
25 minute journey alights at Nelly Bay Terminal. Catch a bus or taxi to the resort.
Please contact resort prior to 5pm Saturday if you are not arriving till after 5pm,
so access to your unit can be arranged. If driving car barge bookings are essential.

arrives at Nelly Bay, exit left into Sooning St and after approxmiately 700m turn

Island Palms Resort is on Magnetic Island, in the Great Barrier Reef region of Australia's
North Queensland Coast. It boasts a delightful blend of National Park, palm-fringed
beaches, hilltop lookouts and sun 320 days a year. The landscape varies from granite
boulders to Hoop Pines and eucalyptus forests. Rocky headlands meet the sea and have
created secluded beaches that can only be reached by foot. Thrill to the unique wildlife,
like wallabies, koalas and local birds. There is a nine-hole golf course, lawn bowls,
trail rides, fishing and a wide variety of restaurants.
