BY AIR: Nearest airport Turin 82km (2.5hrs) or Milan 210kms. BY ROAD: From Turin airport take the ring road to Piacenza/Savona. Exit at Stupinigi. Take the SS23 to Pinerolo / Sestriere. Once in Sestriere turn right at first crossroads. Pass the Olimpika Club and turn left into Via Assietta that ends in Via La Gleisa. The resort is 400mtrs on the left hand side. From Turin it is also possible to take the T4 towards Frejus. Exit at Sestriere and follow signs to Sestriere. Turn left, then as above. BY RAIL: Train from Turin to Olux, then bus from Oulx to Sestriere and a taxi to the resort.

Shuttle service to the Airport: No

Sestriere (at an altitude of 2035 meters or 6676 feet) is the most important tourist center of the Piedmont Alps. A long ski season is assured here between Christmas and Easter, helped by artificial snowmaking equipment if necessary. In fact, this is the capital of a vast ski domain known as the Milky Way, where there are ski trails stretching into France. Sestriere, which is on the World Cup ski circuit, offers cross-country skiing in winter. During July and August, there is an 18-holes golf course and tennis. This resort has different check-in days over the year. Bookings have to be made in increments of 7 nights. After confirming a unit online please check with RCI that the check-in day booked is correct for your time of travel. Incorrect bookings will be canceled and re-booked with the correct check-in day.
Reception is open 8:30am until midnight from December 20th through March 31st, and July 1 through August 31st. The rest of the year reception opening hours are 9-13/14-17. If you need to check in outside of the Reception hours, you’ll have to pay €100 until 9pm, and after 9pm you cannot check in until the following day. Please email info@palaceresidence.com to inform the resort in advance.
Amenities and area attractions are seasonal.
Resort is not suitable for handicapped people, or people with walking difficulties.
Credit card imprint required upon check-in at the resort.
Everything remains closed in Sestriere, including resort facilities outside July & August and the ski season. Please be aware that you might need to drive 15 minutes to the closest bar/restaurant. Outside the peak season, all facilities are closed including restaurants, bars, markets, laundry, gym, game rooms, etc. Toiletries are provided. A car is highly recommended to enjoy the area.
Resort cannot honor unit upgrades or moves.
