Skistar Vacation Club Åre Village features a range of accommodations fit for couples
and families alike. Ranging in size from one to three bedrooms, each unit offers a
full kitchen, including a microwave, refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, toaster,
kettle and coffeemaker. Additional appliances like a hand mixer make it possible to
whip up some warm treats to savor after a day on the slopes. A separate living room
area gives everyone a place to come together and relive the day’s adventures, while

One of Scandinavia’s leading ski resorts, Åre Village is a hotbed for adventure. With
91 kilometers of slopes and 31 lifts, the skiing and snowboarding is unbeatable, offering
a stunning backdrop of Sweden’s expansive mountain vistas. The area’s terrain has
hosted many big name events from the Alpine World Championships to the Freestyle FIS
World Cup. In the summer, Sweden’s largest mountain bike resort, Åre Bikepark, opens,
offering 34 trails to explore across 50 kilometers with 853 meters of height difference.
Visitors can also enjoy activities like hiking, paragliding, kayaking and golf, or
participate in the Åre Extreme Challenge – the area’s multisport competition held
each July. The Tännforsen Waterfall, Sweden’s biggest waterfall, is another tourist
favorite. In the winter, it turns into a beautifully lit ice sculpture.
