Borgo di Vagli is a beautifully restored 14th century Tuscan Hamlet, nestled in the Pierle Valley overlooking the 1000 year old Pierle Castle. Located only 20 minutes from the beautiful town Cortona and lake Trasimeno, this self-contained Hamlet is set in 12 hectares of ancient oaks, chestnuts and olive groves, deep in the Tuscan countryside. It is ideal for relaxing or sightseeing.

BY AIR: Florence - 160KM BY CAR: From the airport turn right for the motorway, travelling west for approx. 10KM. Then join the A1 Autostrada, south, towards Roma. Exit at Bettolle - Valdichiana. Drive towards Perugia. After 12KM exit at Cortona - Montepulciano and follow signs for Cortona (16km). At Camucia, follow signs for Mercatale for 14,6km. 4KM before Mercatale, turn left to Rocca di Pierle. Follow signs to the resort, taking the 2KM unpaved road. This road is full of bends and slopes - please pay attention. The resort is not near the main road and there are no public transports.A CAR IS ESSENTIAL

Shuttle service to the Airport: No

Arezzo, Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, Assisi, and Perugia are all within an hours drive. Florence and Rome are within easy reach by train. Just 3.73 miles away, is the town of Mercatale, with all the local facilities.
