NEAREST AIRPORT: Ivalo 30 km. From airport drive towards Sodankyl? on road 4. On
reaching Saariselk?, follow signs to Kylpyl? Hotelli Saariselk? to collect the key
from the hotel reception. The units are 1 km from the hotel. PUBLIC TRANSPORT: There
is a direct bus connection from every flight between Ivalo airport and Spa Hotel Saariselka.

Saariselka lies some 180 miles north of the Arctic Circle. The village has developed
into a well-known holiday center where visitors enjoy every manner of winter sports,
as well as tours into the wilderness of Lapland. Snowmobile safaris and dogsled rides,
reindeer watching, cross-country and downhill skiing are all enjoyed by visitors along
with the lively après-ski activities, live music, and dancing. In summer you can try
your hand at gold panning, kayaking or canoeing. Fishing enthusiasts will love the
clear-watered and well-stocked lakes and rivers.
