Villas Palmas is located ten miles from the San Jose Airport. From the airport, take the Panamerican Highway to San Jose. Then take the cut-off to "Best Western (Hotel Irazu)" and go 1 1/2 blocks (300 meters) East and turn right and go one block (100 meters) South. Transportation from the airport to resort is complimentary. This resort offers an excellent location to use as a home-base to eco-tour the country of Costa Rica. Taranova-Villas Palmas is a small urban resort with a small unheated pool. This is not a resort to sit & lounge; most guests take tours leaving in the early morning and return early evening. Centrally located in the country of Costa Rica, it is just minutes to the center of the city of San Jose. A casino, shopping & restaurants are 3 blocks away. An on-site tour company is available for guest convenience.
