Fjällvattnet rests on a small peninsula on Lake Vattnan. Its peaceful location is surrounded by lake and woodland and is some 19 kms from the nearest village - the ideal spot to relax and recharge, but a car is neccessary if you wish to explore further afield. Snow usually lasts from November until May and cross-country skiing is popular in the area. The fishing is very good here, and the lodges are only 22m from the lake. The two-bedroom apartments sleep up to six people, with privacy for two.

Roros Airport - RRS (75 Miles)

BY AIR: For international arrivals fly to Stockholm (600 kms) and further on via local flights to Röros (Norway) 110kms or Östersund (Sweden) 240kms. BY ROAD:From Gothenburg take E20 -Örebro, R60 to Borlänge, R70 - Mora, R45 - Sveg and R84 - Tännäs (approx.11 hours). From Stockholm take E4 - Hudiksvall, then R84 - Alvros, R84/R45 - Sveg. From here R84 - Hede and Tännäs. From Sundsvall take E14 after Borgsö, R83 pass Aange - Östvall then R315 - Hedeviken and R84 - Tännäs. The approximate journey times by car to the resort are as follows: Oslo 6 hours, Stockholm 7 hours, Östersund 3 hours and Röros (Norway) 1.5 hours. Train to Ostersund then bus or taxi to resort. Please contact the resort by email or by phone to get code to the key box located in a room beside the entrance of the garage.

In summer, the 'midnight sun'brings long, bright days. A car is essential to enjoy the area.
