From Brisbane or Sydney take a domestic flight to Coffs Harbour airport, 6 kms from
the resort. Taxis are readily available at the airport, bus or train station. If
driving from Brisbane take the Sawtell/Toormina exit (Sawtell Rd) off the highway
6 kms south of Coffs Harbour. (Mobil Roadhouse). Head east along Sawtell Rd approx.
3.3kms to a large roundabout. Go straight through the roundabout and 1km further on
is Barber Close (on the left). If driving from Sydney, there are 2 Sawtell/Toormina
exits; do not take the 1st one (Lyons Rd) but continue along 1km and take the Sawtell
Rd exit. Turn right over the overpass (heading east) and continue to roundabout.

mountaintops and dozens of unspoiled beaches. The hub of a thriving banana industry,
Coff's Harbour was once also an important wharf, moving timber from the hinterland.
Today, tourists enjoy any number of national parks, nature reserves, and marine parks
that surround the city. Farther afield, the Hunter Valley, with its wineries and
scenic lake and river cruises, is within a 4-hour drive. Sydney, with all the big
city has to offer, is 6 hours from Boambee Bay Resort.
