Gemuender Ferienpark Salzberg is located in the Eifel region which is well known for
its extensive forests, rivers and lakes. The surrounding area belongs to the National
Park Eifel, an attraction for hikers and bike riders. The resort is also less than
a 45-minute drive from the towns of Cologne, Bonn, and Aachen, which are perfect for
day trips to explore all they have to offer. There is also Phantasialand - a fantastic
amusement park suitable for the young and young at heart, nearby.

Spacious, one- and two-bedroom accommodations are perfect for vacationing families
or couples enjoying a getaway. Studios sleep two guests; one-bedroom units sleep
up to four; and two-bedroom units sleep up to six. Accommodations come with a fully
equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. Each unit also has a terrace or a
balcony for your enjoyment
BY AIR: Nearest airport: Koeln - Bonn 59kms or Duesseldorf 120kms. BY ROAD: From the
airport Koeln-Bonn enter Autobahn A59, direction Koeln. Then take the A4, direction
Aachen. At Junction "Koeln West" take the A1, direction Koblenz/Euskirchen. Then take
exit Wisskirchen (A1) and then take the B266 till you reach Gemuend. In Gemuend go
straight on until you reach the sign "Wohngebiet Salzberg". At this sign turn right
and take the 3rd exit at the roundabout. Go up the hill and take the next turning
on the left. The resort is on the right. BY RAIL: The next railway station is Kall
which is 6km from the resort.

The picturesque village of Gemund offers forests, lakes, beautiful scenery, and swimming.
Gemund also has bike trails and horseback riding. In the area you can visit the amusement
park of Phantasialand or go for a boat ride. Visit Cologne and see the Cathedral or
Chocolate Museum. The Rhineland, with its castles and wine-growing areas, is also
within easy reach by car. Also visit the open air museum at Kommern.

Reception hours are Sunday-Friday from 8am-12pm, and 5pm-8pm, and Saturday hours
are 8am-8pm. The building is multi-story with NO elevator access.
A fee of €10 per pet, per night is charged in the one or two-bedroom apartments
and no pets are allowed in studio units.
