Thurnham Hall Resort is close to the historic town of Lancaster with its medieval
castle. This cultural centre offers theatre and concerts, while being within an easy
drive of the Lake District National Park. The resort is ideally situated for day trips
to the Yorkshire Dales, and the seaside town of Blackpool. The attractive studio,
one- and two-bedroom apartments have full kitchens and are located in the house and

NEAREST AIRPORT: MANCHESTER 70 MILES. From Manchester take the M56 West to the M6.
Take M6 North and exit at junction 33 signed Lancaster South (resort is approx. 5
miles from here). At first roundabout, turn left on the A6 signed Garstang. After
approx. 1 mile, turn right at crossroads signed Cockerham. Turn right at T junction
signed Cockerham. At Cockerham turn right on A588, signed Lancaster. Continue for
approx 2 miles to Thurnham Hall. The resort is on the right hand side, immediately
after the row of cottages. Please note that the entrance to the resort is set back
off the road side.BY TRAIN: Train from London Euston to Lancaster, then taxi to resort.

For late arrivals, please contact the resort as soon as possible. Through Forton
Village, there is a road closure with no information for how long this will be in
place. As a result, please follow diversions to Cockerham Road leading to Lancaster
which passes Thurnham Hall Resort on the A588. Alternative routes are also available.
