Approaching from the South - M5 Motorway, Junction 7. Take the A44 to Worcester City Centre(Whittington Road then london road) At the traffic lights in Sidbury, close to the Cathedral, (large motorcycle shop is on your left), turn right into City Walls Road (signposted A38 Bromsgrove).At the first roundabour take the second exit. After 100 metres you will come to another roundabout where you need to take the first exit (9 o'clock) into Pheasant Street. Drive along the road for 100 meters to a set of traffic lights turn left into lowersmoor. Enter the estate and follow the road round to the left and you will see Viking Afloat at the end of this road.

Shuttle service to the Airport: No

Based in the southern end of Worcester, Birmingham Canal is the ideal base for all routes into the Shakespeare country via the River Severn and Avon, or trips north into rural Worcestershire where you will pass through the heart of the picturesque Archers country.

Party must consist of 2 active adults, both over the age of 21, no exceptions. Knowledge of English is required. Please note there is a 30 GBP charge per dog per week and a maximum of 2 dogs per boat. Cruising is subject to compulsory training only available on check-in days. You must watch the Canal & River Trust DVD, either online on http://www.video-server.co.uk/boaters-video.php or the resort can post the DVD to you upon request.
Damage waiver £55, if not taken then there is a £500 charge to a card which is refunded once the boat has been returned with all the inventory in place and undamaged. Check in outside of normal check in hours/days of 2-5pm in summer and 2-4pm in winter, can only be made by arrangement directly with the marina. This may not be possible and is subject to a charge of up to £50 if it is possible.
Cruising is not always available – not only through planned maintenance stoppages but also through closures due to poor weather conditions. Guests must check in at 2pm on check in day. Bookings must be in increments of 7,14 or 21 nights, incorrect bookings will be cancelled.
In preparation for your upcoming trip check for any vaccine and/or testing requirements, travel restrictions, policies, or mandates related to Covid-19 to and from your destination. Resources available online include, but are not limited to, government, airline, and your host resort’s website.
